The makeup brushes are the backbone of the makeup routine. In order to have a flawless face without getting any breakouts or rashes, we need to keep these sacred tools clean.
For concealer and liquid foundation brushes/sponges, you need to clean them at least once a week to prevent a build-up of product. And because these brushes are used on your face, the cleaner, the better. Brushes that are used around the eye-area should be cleaned at least twice a month, while all others can be washed once a month, like the kabuki brush used for the powder foundation. This is due to the fact that the product itself is so clean and only contains four highly purified minerals, which means that any bacteria won't be built in the brush.
The Brush cleaner can be used between uses of the brushes, for example if you want to use the same eyeshadow brush for two different type of eyeshadow, then the brush cleaner is perfect. You put an amount of the Brush cleaner onto a paper and then swipe around in circles with the brush - the colour disappears right away, and the brush will instant be ready to use.
If you want to deep clean your brushes in order to get rid of bacteria, you should use soap and lukewarm water together with a Brush cleansing tool.
After the cleansing part is done the brushes needs to dry, it's very important that you lay the brushes flat to dry. Otherwise, the bristle can get a weird shape, or the dripping water can cause harm to the brushes.
